Unit 7 Today is Monday
（第一課時）
教學目標：
�。�1）在故事中學習詢問星期幾所做事情的功能句型，學生初步感知句型的含義及用法。
（2）在句型中學習表示星期的單詞：Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday，能夠在句型中加以運用。
�。�3）了解故事大意，能盡可能多地運用英語來表述故事。
教學重點：
學習表示星期的單詞，能夠理解詢問星期幾所做事情的功能句型。
教學難點：
發音：Thursday，能盡可能多地運用英語來表述故事，發展學生的語言表達能力。
教學準備：
配套光盤，日歷，教學卡片。
教學過程：
一、Warming-up
師：Oral English:
How many days are there in a week?
Which day do you like? 二、Preview
師：1. ask the children what they do on Monday.(go to school)

2. present the word “every”explain its meaning. Listen and repeat it.
3. show a diary and explain “diary”ask, “Do you go to school on Monday?” /Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

教學目標：
（1）學習星期名稱的詞匯，通過詞匯的學習讓學生對熟悉的感興趣的知識能夠在情景中理解運用。會利用星期進行交流。
�。�2）能夠拼寫本單元關于星期詞匯的單詞并能夠在理解的基礎上以小組的形式表演全部或部分故事內容。
（3）通過故事的學習，培養學生在日常生活中正確把握學與玩的關系。會自己制作安排一周的活動。
教學重點：
關于星期詞匯的學習，及幾個常用的名詞的書寫，如單詞開頭的大寫，都以-day結尾，對學生的學習方法進行指導
教學難點：
是學生在理解詞匯意義的基礎上結合故事內容，了解詞匯的用法，然后進行模仿，
并注意詞匯書寫形式的把握。靈活運用所學習的語言交際用語進行口語交流。
教學準備：
配套光盤，日歷，教學卡片。

（3）通過短文的學習，培養學生養成快速、不出聲閱讀的習慣，同時學會安排自己的一周的活動。 教學重點：學習本單元的句型結構，學生能夠做替換練習，正確的遷移所學的知識 教學難點：靈活運用所學習的語言交際用語進行口語交流。同時要學會帶著問題閱讀，完成任務。

1.復習基數詞one至twelve。
�。�1）根據歌曲，教師出示基數詞one至twelve的單詞卡片，請學生讀一讀、拼一拼。
�。�2）游戲——排排坐。
游戲規則：教師隨機出示數字單詞卡片，一閃而過，哪位學生最快說出該單詞并拼讀正確，教師就將該卡片給這位學生，以此類推，直至12張卡片全部發至學生手中。請拿到卡片的12位學生上臺，將卡片按one至twelve的順序貼在黑板上。
2.復習序數詞first至fourth，教學序數詞fifth至twelfth。
�。�1）用同樣的方法復習序數詞first至fourth，然后請四位學生上臺，將四個序數詞寫在相應的基數詞旁，如：
first
second third
fourth
（2）教師在剩余的基數詞旁貼出相應的序數詞的單詞卡片，讓學生觀察兩組單詞在音、形和義上的不同，并找出序數詞的構成規律。
（3）告訴學生，數詞有兩種：基數詞和序數詞。表達數目多少的數詞叫基數詞，表達順序先后的數詞叫序數詞。英語中序數詞第1至第12除了first，second，third有特殊的形式外，其余均由基數詞加后綴瞭h構成。注意第5和第12的拼寫，要把基數詞five和twelve詞尾的ve改成f，然后加后綴瞭h。
�。�4）采用不同的方法教學12個序數詞的讀音。
�。�5）完成課本第51頁的Say these numbers.部分。
請學生朗讀表格中的序數詞，并觀察序數詞第1至第12的縮寫形式，說出它們的構成特點，然后同桌合作認讀表格中的序數詞及其縮寫形式。
（6）游戲——拔河比賽。
游戲規則：在黑板上畫一橫線，中間位置畫一點為“中心點”，將一個磁扣放在中心點上，中心點的左右各畫五小格，如下圖：(略)
游戲開始，第一回合甲隊第一個人隨機說一個基數詞（或序數詞），乙隊的第一個人就要說出相應的序數詞（或基數詞），如果乙隊說得正確，磁扣就向乙隊方向移動一格，回答錯誤，就向甲隊方向移動一格。第二回合，乙隊第二個人隨機說一個基數詞（或序數詞），甲隊的第二個人就要說出相應的序數詞（或基數詞），以此類推，最后磁扣先到達哪隊的終點，哪個隊獲勝。
3.導入課題，并教學單詞building。
�。�1）教師出示一張有十六、七層的高樓圖片說：“Look.This is a tall building.Which floor does Miss Gao live on? Let’s see.”
（2）揭示課題并板書：Unit 7 Tall BuildingPart A。
�。�3）出示單詞卡片，教學building。告訴學生building由動詞build（建造）加瞚ng構成，引導學生拓展說句子：It’s a tall/nice/beautiful/…building或They餽e…buildings。
Step 3 Presentation
�。ㄒ唬┙虒W句子：Which floor do you live on? On the twelfth floor.
1.教師指著高樓的圖片說：“This is a tall building.Miss Gao lives in this tall building.（在圖旁板書live in）Which floor does Miss Gao live on?Let’s listen.”
2.教師播放課文錄音或CD-ROM，學生邊聽邊看，并從書中找出答案。
3.教師在圖片中十二層的位置旁的黑板上板書Which floor do you live on? On the twelfth floor.
�。�1）教學單詞floor，告訴學生，floor有兩種意思，一為“地板”，如sweep the floor（掃地），一為“樓層”，如the first floor（一樓）。
（2）熟讀這兩個句子。
（3）問答練習。
